Allister is a  senior accountant at Bederson LLP in Fairfield. He is responsible for providing a full range of accounting and tax services to closely held businesses. He also presents at CPE sessions. Allister, who received his CPA license less than one year ago, is a dedicated nonprofit volunteer leader who has taken an active role supporting the missions of organizations such as the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey, the Passaic County Chapter of the NJCPA and others.  His biggest role, which began in 2018, was in serving as the leader of the newly established  Lawyers, Accountants and Finance Professionals Young Professionals Committee of Eva’s Village- a Paterson-based interconnected community of recovery and support services. Allister led a team of a dozen young attorneys and CPAs in fundraising, and generating awareness of Eva’s mission through ongoing social media efforts. He participated in an on-location video shoot to help promote the services of one of the buildings within Eva’s three block campus. He organized volunteer lunch service for his committee members at Eva’s dining hall and arranged for a musically talented colleague to play piano at several lunch services and at the February 21, 2019 Lawyers, Accountants and Finance Professionals fundraiser dinner at the Westmount Country Club.
