Available Positions

This job requires an energetic, experienced, hands-on CPA to provide accounting and tax services for our diversified client base.

Responsibilities will include preparation of audits, reviews and compilations as well as tax compliance services.

Requirements:

Candidate must hold a CPA license and have a minimum five years experience in public accounting. Must be proficient in Quickbooks. Experience with ProSystem fx Tax Preparation, ProSystem fx Engagement a plus. Good organizational skills are also required.

Candidate must be a US Citizen and be able to commute to the office every day. Remote or hybrid work arrangements are not an option.

Candidates should possess solid communication, technology, organizational and analytical skills. Firm is looking for at least three or four years’ public accounting experience (CPA a plus), along with a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

Typical duties include:

  • Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances
  • Preparing financial statements
  • Performing balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analyses
  • Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules
  • Preparing tax returns and corporate reporting requirements
  • Highly detail oriented and organized
  • Ability to meet assigned deadlines
  • Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives
  • Knowledge in QB, CCH ProSystem Fx Tax, Microsoft Office, etc.
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Maintain client contact and coordinate flow of information to the tax team, outside auditors and clients’ other professional service providers

Our firm is currently seeking a Senior Tax Associate with Federal and multi-state tax preparation experience.   In this role, the applicant will be responsible for preparing and filing complex tax returns. This includes compiling supporting financial statements/documents and reviewing and/or preparing bookkeeping services.   Applicants should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or finance, CPA is a plus, and at least 3 years of professional tax prep experience. 

Senior Tax Accountant Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file complex tax returns on behalf of clients
  • Compile supporting financial statements and documents
  • Assist with federal and state tax audits
  • Respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies
  • Perform tax research, staying up to date on changes

Senior Tax Accountant Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Master’s degree a plus
  • CPA license a plus
  • Tax preparation experience (3+ years)
  • Experience with bookkeeping software, including QuickBooks
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work well in a team setting as well as independently

We are looking for a detail-oriented tax associate to consult with clients and provide tax preparation services. The tax associate will report to a tax supervisor and manager. The tax associate’s responsibilities include interacting with clients, obtaining and reviewing tax information, preparing tax returns, and performing tax research projects.

To be successful as a tax associate you should be able to ensure your clients comply with IRS regulations and work to minimize their tax liabilities.

Tax Associate Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring clients comply with IRS regulations and meet their state and federal tax obligations.
  • Analyzing and minimizing tax liabilities by implementing tax reduction strategies.
  • Reviewing financial records, income statements, and expenditures.
  • Preparing and filing tax returns and work papers for companies, partnerships, and individuals.
  • Researching tax issues and assisting with tax audits.
  • Consulting with clients, reviewing their tax information, and responding to questions and concerns.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records.

Tax Associate Requirements:

  • Degree in taxation or accounting required.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent accounting skills.
  • Good customer service skills
  • Must have strong organizational skills.

Our firm is looking for an experienced accountant to join our team as a Tax Supervisor. In this position, you are responsible for overseeing the tax return preparation for numerous clients. You will delegate projects to our tax preparation staff and review each filing to ensure accuracy and compliance with all relevant Internal Revenue Service (IRS) regulations. Clients may also need you to research and examine other tax documentation for planning purposes. You must be proficient with Quickbooks software and familiar with other industry software. Our ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting, an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, and at least five years of experience in accounting, finance consulting, or a related field.
