Partner, Matthew Schwartz, CPA/CFF, CFE, CIRA has been elected Chairman of the Board of Alzheimer’s New Jersey, where he will serve a one year term, commencing July 1,2020. Matt has been working with Alzheimer’s New Jersey for over five years, most recently serving as Treasurer since 2018 and Chairman of the Audit Committee from 2016 to 2018. As Treasurer, he ensured the Board adhered to best practices in not-for-profit governance, finance, and investment strategies and let the Board through the process of cost cutting measures designed to save an estimated $50,000 per year. As Chairman of the Audit Committee, he led the process in vetting new auditors to provide more timely service. Matt passionately supports, recruits, participates, raises capital, and promotes Alzheimer’s New Jersey’s initiatives.
