Tax Partner, Jeffrey Callahan gains full STEP (a global professional association for practitioners who specialize in family inheritance and succession planning) membership. Full members, known as TEPs are internationally recognized as experts in their field, with proven qualifications and experience. The TEP designation is recognized by employers in 96 countries. Of the 14,000 fully qualified TEPS, only 5% are based in the United States. Mr. Callahan’s practice areas within the STEP organization include Cross border estates, Estate planning/administration, Family business, International Client, Succession Planning, Tax, and Trust Planning/administration. The Special Interests Group in which he is a member are Cross Border Estates and International Client.

STEP works to improve public understanding of the issues families face in this area and promotes education and high professional standards among its members. STEP members help families plan for their futures, from drafting a will to advising on issues concerning international families, protection of the vulnerable, family businesses and philanthropic giving. STEP also works with policymakers and regulatory authorities across the world to examine the likely impact on families of policy proposals and to develop guidance and support.  “I am incredibly pleased that Jeff has gained full membership to STEP.
